London Revealed was designed by Londoners to offer insight and discovery into a city of endless opportunities and adventure. Here you will find all things that make London unique; from top tips to follow when visiting the city for the first time, to best places to have traditional Sunday roast, to anecdotal stories about mudlarking on the Thames.

Packed with personal blogs, fun videos and powerful imagery, you will experience London as true Londoners do.
Fun, personal and authentic, London Revealed has been created by the editorial team at Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts, and sees contributions from a passionate and diverse team of London-based writers.



Lulu Le Vay

Lulu Le Vay started out as deputy editor of mouthy fanzine Sleazenation in the mid-90s, propelling her into a busy career as a music and lifestyle writer for publications as diverse as The Face and i-D through to the Guardian Guide, The Independent and The New Statesman. Lulu has also been a freelance magazine editor working with luxury hotel brands such as London’s Andaz to launch in-house publications.

This wealth of experience led Lulu to write and deliver music business and journalism courses in the UK. For four years she has also led the social media content for fitness brand Gymbox, the blog having recently won fitness blog of the year at the UK Blog Awards 2017. Lulu is also a freelance sub-editor for Greenpeace.

Lauren Harmes



Lauren is a professional copywriter with a history of creating content for the hospitality and leisure industry in both London and Liverpool. From working with Michelin-starred chefs of marketing campaigns and spending time as a national news journalist, Lauren has a strong passion for leisure and hospitality and splits her time between the two cities.

Amanda Gegg




Amanda is a London-based freelance writer who believes in making the most of every opportunity that presents itself in life, especially when it comes to the extraordinary city she

calls home.

Alongside her professional writing career, Amanda runs her own blog ‘The Weekend Wanderer’, which is an account of the travelling she undertakes in her free time;

all peppered with healthy dose of tried and tested advice.

When she’s not writing (or packing up her fiancé and Chocolate Labrador for a weekend away in their campervan), Amanda can be found devoting her time to discovering new and quirky hangouts in London, not to mention competing with her other half to see who can get tickets to the best gigs in the city.
