Not only is it the start of a New Year, but also a new decade, which inevitably means we’ll be looking to kick it off in a healthy way. So our 2020 gift to you is our foolproof guide to the most delicious healthy restaurants in London. After all, who said healthy food isn’t allowed to taste good?

Enter into the famous Avobar and you're greeted with plants lining the walls and ceilings and an entire menu dedicated to one ingredient: the humble avocado. Open all day every day on Covent Garden's Henrietta Street, this hidden gem works on a first-come, first-served basis.


Malibu Kitchen at The Ned

One of the eight restaurants set amidst The Ned's historic former banking hall, Malibu Kitchen brings the sunshine and good side of California food to London. With a menu boasting Californian favourites such as chia seed and courgette flatbread, gazpacho, fried halloumi, pulled jackfruit with coleslaw and tofu mayo, this won’t be a meal you’ll forget in a hurry.


Ottolenghi

The famous chef Yotham Ottolenghi’s flagship Islington restaurant serves a menu with vegetables and protein-based cuisine at its heart. From colourful raw dishes to chargrilled salmon with smoked paprika and lemon aioli; there is something for everyone here - all presented in an array of vibrant flavours, contrasts and textures.


Mildreds Soho

Based in an 18th-century townhouse in the heart of Soho on Lexington Street; Mildreds opened in 1988, boasting an international-themed vegetarian menu which favours organic and seasonal produce. As a bonus, they are celebrating 'Veganuary' for the month and have made their menu entirely vegan.


26 Grains

26 Grains serves the best porridge in London. It's their speciality, after all. The toppings change seasonally and vary vastly, but there's always a sweet and savoury option on the menu. Firm winter favourites include Nordic pear spiced oats with cacao crumble and maple, and a blood orange curd bowl of oats with sesame brittle and yogurt.

Farm Girl is the perfect choice for a fresh, nutritious and honest breakfast or a delicious and filling salad for lunch. As well as being totally Instagrammable, Farm Girl is comfortable and dog-friendly. You will find plenty of vegan, veggie and gluten-free dish options. We highly recommend trying the super smoothies - excellent for your 2020 regime!
