AMANDA GEGG, FEBRUARY 2018

When you think of bright yellow sandy beaches, we’re guessing that London might not have previously been a place that sprung to mind. However, all of this is about to change thanks to the growing popularity of urban beaches, which are springing up all over the capital. Neverland / Fulham Beach Club (Wandsworth Station or Parson’s Green Tube)

And for £35 you can treat yourself to a pitcher of cocktail and a sharing platter to keep you going through those tough sunbathing sessions.

Hampstead Beach (Finchely Road & Frognal or West Hampstead Stations)

Organised by the Jewish Community Centre (a.k.a. ‘JW3’), the Hampstead Beach is back this year (from 1 July – 2 September) for people north of the river to put their feet up and bathe in the good vibes.
